Here the client wanted a very French Country Breakfast Room to accompany the kitchen.

I picked up the table and chairs at a Westport Estate Auction...not sure of its age....but saw the potential. Boasting the best craftsmen around, I bought this grouping for my client and had it all refinished with a walnuT pickled stain. I had the chairs re-caned and refinished as well.

All the copper is 17-18th Century and gives the room so much character.The plant stand was a bird cage that I filled with ivy !

I especially loved the window treatment as I has the scalloped border on the fabric cut out and applied on the bottom of the swag-roll-up .To confirm the Country French ambience please note the ruffled over-hang on the seat cushions.

Timeless in age, Classic by style....
